STATEMENT OF FAITH
WE BELIEVE:
a. That the Hammock Community Church, as an interdenominational church, should honor the richness of various Christian
traditions.
b. That all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and that the Bible is the only sufficient rule of Faith and practice.
c. That Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who in the fullness of time was begotten by the Holy Ghost and born of the
Virgin Mary, thereby taking upon Himself human nature and becoming God-Man that He might redeem us.
d. That as the body is one and has many members, all who believe are fitly joined together into one body, and Jesus Christ is
the head of the body, the Church.
e. That all Christians should walk worthily of Christ on an overcoming victorious life, daily growing in Grace and the
Knowledge of the Lord, constantly being filled with the Holy Spirit, whom they receive when born again.
f. In the personal, return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
g. That those who have never heard the Gospel are lost and that it is therefore our solemn responsibility to preach the Gospel to
every creature.
