Rev. Vic Alvarado, Pastor
Vic Alvarado came to know Jesus as Savior at the age of five, and sensed God’s call to ministry at the age of twelve. Since 1983 Vic has faithfully carried out his calling in a variety of assignments and influential settings. Both his undergrad and graduate education in Biblical Studies is from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California. He was originally Ordained in 1989 in the Church of The Nazarene and his credentials are current within the Missionary Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The greatest gift God has given Vic, second only to His grace, is his bride, Darcy. They have been happily married since 1993. He is very satisfied when he is with her. They are both natives of Southern California. He is also a proud father of two gifted young adults - Logan and Victoria.
In his spare time, you’ll find Vic detailing his car, working in the yard, reading a good book on the beach, or cheering on the Dodgers. Yet, Vic is most passionate about this: A focused pursuit of the character of Jesus, a whole-hearted devotion to the pleasure of His company, and the beauty of His glory.
